Discography

Well discography is a big word for just two CDs but until record another, that’s how it is. Our first CD “Music for Metal Instruments” was recorded at St. Augustine’s Chapel, Bristol in March 1998. The recording was made possible with funds provided by the National Lottery through the Arts Council of England. Primarily intended as a promotional showcase for the group, the CD displays the range and versatility of the Bristol Brass Consort in a wide ranging program of music from the 16th century to the present day.

The CD What Sweeter Music is a collection of Christmas music and carols by the very talented choir De Chorum released in 2006 in aid of Cancer Research UK. We were very pleased to be able to contribute to this project and the full story of the CD and background that led to it’s recording can be found on the What Sweeter Music website.
